Biography

Uven is a senior undergraduate student seeking a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics. In addition to his internship at the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes, Uven works at ASU s National Center of Excellence, researching materials solutions to Urban Heat Island. In the past, Uven has worked on air pollution flow research projects with ASU's Environmental Fluid Dynamics Research Lab. He was also a member of the Undergraduate Student Government, serving as Assistant Government Relations Director. Additionally, Uven was an inaugural Pat Tillman Scholar. In 2005, Uven was an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict, where he studied the progression of women's rights in Morocco, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates.
