Biography

Tim Lindquist joined Arizona State University (ASU) in 1985 as a faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In 1995, he served the department as the Associate Chair for Academic Affairs and in 2000 he moved to the Polytechnic campus as a department chair. In 2003, he became Associate Dean and Director of the Division of Computing Studies on the Polytechnic campus. Together with administrators in Tempe, he created Polytechnic learn-by-doing computing programs to complement ASU Tempe offerings. He served as the Interim Dean of the College of Science and Technology on the Polytechnic campus from 2006 to 2008.
