Biography

Sarah joined DCDC in July 2012 as the Community Outreach Coordinator. Before coming to DCDC, she was the Water Conservation Specialist with the South Tahoe Public Utility District where she designed and implemented water conservation programs for the City of South Lake Tahoe and Meyers, California. Over the last 12 years Sarah worked in the Lake Tahoe basin doing wetland and forest restoration work with California Tahoe Conservancy, served in Americorps researching wildlife ecology, and was a Program Coordinator with the Nevada Fire Safe Council. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Biology from Eastern Oregon University and is currently working towards a master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Denver.
