Biography

Nick Francis is a graduate student in ASU's Sustainable Solutions Master’s degree program and a program manager at the Walton Sustainable Solutions Service. Before coming to ASU, he spent ten years in the nonprofit sector serving as the Executive Director of the Gateway Community Development Corporation in suburban Maryland, implementing arts-based economic development and affordable housing projects for four municipalities outside of Washington DC. He spent three years as an economic development specialist in southern Arizona and has worked internationally implementing water resource, agricultural and public health projects as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa.
