Biography

Nancy Mancilla is the CEO and Co-Founder of ISOS Group, a full-services sustainability consultancy firm also recognized for its leadership as a GRI and CDP Certified Training Partner in the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa, a ISO26000 licensed provider and an IPMS Certified PRiSM (for Sustainability Project Management) Training Partner. Since establishing the company, Nancy has orchestrated 300+ Certified Trainings, co-taught MBA programs, regularly serves as a conference guest speaker and thought leader on the non-financial reporting process. In addition to educational services, ISOS Group provides organizations of all types with sustainability assessments, reporting guidance and external assurance.

Prior to starting ISOS Group in 2008, Nancy assisted Winrock International in developing their sustainability services and led numerous micro-economic development projects related biodiversity, agronomics and renewable energy. She also developed an innovative technique to analyze the sustainability of Winrock’s hydro-electric projects in the Republic of Georgia as opposed to Russian energy sources. Previous positions included the Little Rock City Mayor’s Sustainability Commission, Arkansas Clean Cities Coalition and the Arkansas Biofuels Alliance. Nancy earned her B.A. in International Relations (IR) with a Minor in Environmental Studies from the U.S. International University in San Diego, California. She also holds a M.A. in IR from the University of Amsterdam, as well as an inaugural M.P.S. (Public Service) from the Clinton School of Public Service in Little Rock, Arkansas where she dedicated her work to issues of sustainability.

Nancy’s work is backed by advanced training offered by AccountAbility (CSAP), CDP, GRI, SA8000 and under PRiSM and the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute courses. Nancy currently serves as the Co-Chair for CROA’s Ratings and Rankings Committee, ACCO’s Champions Council and the Co-Chair of Cultural Vistas’ Alumni Council. She is also an Faculty Associate at Arizona State University’s School of Sustainability. Her work has earned her a position in the 2016 Leadership California cohort, the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern California Sustainable Business Council and finalist status in the 2014 San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award.
