Biography
Maryam Abdul Rashid is an international student from Malaysia who is currently enrolled in the 4+1 MSUS program. Her interest lies in the field of sustainable development with a concentration in conservation and sustainable tourism. She would like to work abroad in the field of international development with probably a non-profit organization to promote behavioral change, biodiversity or even climate change initiatives.
Maryam is a senior from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability with a track in Society and Sustainability and a minor in communication. In addition to being an Ambassador, Maryam is a Community Assistant in Hassayampa Academic Village, President for the Honor Society for Sustainability, a Global Guide Mentor and a member of the School of Sustainability Academy. Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, traveling, tasting different cuisines from around the world and spending time with family and friends.
