Biography

Marley Halter received her Master of Arts in the School of Sustainability at Arizona State University. She is interested in studying food systems, food security, social justice, and urban agriculture. Prior to coming to ASU, Marley received her bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies at Hendrix College in Arkansas, where she completed an undergraduate thesis on improving the sustainable wine industry in Arkansas. During her undergraduate career, Marley interned with Grand Aspirations, a nonprofit focused on nutrition, education, and community building, Rattle's Garden, an organic farm, and Garver USA, an environmentally progressive engineering firm headquartered in Arkansas.
