Biography

Marie Griffin is an Associate Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University. She received her Ph.D. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University. Her research interests include issues of organizational climate in the correctional setting; use of force in corrections; prison and jail misconduct; and gender and crime. Her work has appeared in Justice Quarterly, Criminal Justice and Behavior, and Criminology and Public Policy. In 2007, she was named one of the Rising Female Stars in the field of criminology.
