Biography

Leslie’s professional education instructional design toolbox is full of tools acquired from working in higher education, government, social service, nonprofits, small business, and large corporate settings. The various job hats she has worn include trainer, instructional designer, adult education director, program coordinator, project manager, facilitator, conference presenter, and consultant.

As a self-described workplace learning and performance nerd Leslie enthusiastically tackles the challenge of how to meet training needs with practical, relevant, yet innovative approaches. Way back when before the internet was a “thing” she worked at ASU’s Center for Professional Development in the College of Engineering. Those early years at ASU provided the opportunity to take Education Technology courses and begin her instructional design collection for her toolbox. As the elearning field came to be, her instructional design interests evolved from classroom-based training to online delivery.

Leslie thrives on collaboration with colleagues and clients to figure out how to best meet continuing professional education needs for diverse audiences and topics.
