Biography

Kaitlyn joined the Sala lab in the fall of 2018 as a research specialist. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Environmental Science and received her M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Northern Arizona University. Her research experiences include using high-resolution satellite imagery and UAV imagery for invasive buffelgrass detection and looking at hydrological impacts of changing vegetation. She supports the field and laboratory work of the Sala Lab and partially supports the functioning of the Global Drylands Center.
