Biography

A third-generation Arizonan, Jannelle Warren-Findley completed her Ph.D. in American Studies at The George Washington University. She spent twelve years in Washington, D.C., as the CEO of a historical research and writing company. She worked on cultural and natural resource projects for the Department of Defense, NASA, the National Park Service, and private clients. She directed the Cold War resource area for the Legacy Resource Management Project, a Congressionally-mandated program to address issues of environmental management in the U.S. Department of Defense worldwide. She has taught historic preservation, cultural resource management and cultural policy issues in the Department of History at Arizona State since spring 1993.
