Biography

James Culver is currently Project Manager for the Walton Sustainability Solutions Services and a former Senior Vice President of Allied Waste Industries, a Fortune 500 environmental services company.

During his 20 years at Allied Waste, James focused on integrating mergers and acquisitions, creating market development plans, implementing profitability and productivity strategies, developing and measuring performance metrics and project managing. His background also includes aligning organizational requirements with employee competencies - creating training and development opportunities and focusing on effective organizational design, performance management and succession planning.

In 2011 and 2012, James served as panelist and judge for ASU’s Innovation Challenge, where undergraduate and graduate students competed for awards on projects that benefited the local and global community.  James received his MBA from Arizona State University in 2000, and completed his undergraduate work at Southern Methodist University.
