Hayfa Aboukier is Manager of Sustainability Initiatives and Programs for the Jule Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability and the School of Sustainability. Here recent experience at ASU as a University Innovation Fellow in the President's Office and the Office of University Initiatives positioned her to work within a university-wide spectrum with a focus on entrepreneurship, program/project incubation and management as well as cross collaboration within the university and beyond.
Previous to her work at ASU, Hayfa completed her Fulbright Fellowship in Turkey where she worked at a university teaching English and researching cross-cultural perceptions of wellness. Her experience living and working abroad provided her with the opportunity to be socially embedded and globally aware by exploring different education systems, cultures and languages. Prior to living and working in Turkey, Hayfa served as a corps member with Teach for America in Phoenix and a Masters student of Education at ASU's College of Teacher Education and Leadership.
