Biography

My research in Ethnoecology includes work on the following: Resilience of rural communities in the American midwest after the 2008 Mississippi River floods; people, landscapes, and water policy in metropolitan Phoenix, AZ; social and psychological effects of restoring ecosystems in urban areas; effects of migration on Marshallese environmental perceptions and behavior; cultural interpretations of forest succession among the Tzeltal Maya
