Biography
Education:
Professor Shunk received his MSIE and Ph.D. from Purdue University.
Dan Shunk is a Professor in the departments of Management and Industrial Engineering. He is also the Avnet Chair of Supply Network Integration. Professor Shunk teaches courses in the areas of enterprise modeling and integration as well as formulation of strategy and policy in the organization in both the W. P. Carey MBA - Technology, Science and Engineering and the W. P. Carey MBA - Technology, Science and Engineering in China.
He has provided consulting services to many firms and organizations including Motorola, the U.S. Army, Intel, Oracle, and Avnet. He has authored papers which have been published in the Journal of Manufacturing Systems, Manufacturing Review, International Journal of Technology Management, and the International Journal of Production Research.
