Biography

Bonnie's focus is on urban planning, transportation planning and architecture that builds on sustainable concepts to promote a vital and resilient city and region. She works with the Sustainable Communities Collaboration, encouraging mixed-use transit oriented development and infill, leveraging our new light rail system for environmental, social and economic benefit. Bonnie shares best practices and new solutions to government challenges with 28 cities and tribes in Maricopa County as Chair of Sustainable Cities Network.

Recent accomplishments include the first LEED Platinum Transportation Center in Arizona, development of a Storefront Improvement Program and initiation of an Urban Forestry Masterplan and Action Plan.
