Biography
Barbara Trapido-Lurie is a Research Professional in the School of Geographical Sciences.
In this capacity she creates and consults on visualizations (maps, diagrams, photographs, animations) for research publication and presentation, outreach and development. She also instructs spatial analysis courses and coordinates the School s internship program.
Trapido-Lurie participated in developing two of Decision Center for a Desert CityĆ¢??s interactive web sites, WaterSim and the Southwest Water Information Project interactive atlas.
She received her M.A. degree in Geography from the University of Hawaii, and her B.A. in Art from Pomona College.
