Biography

Andrew John started his MS in Sustainability at ASU's School of Sustainability in fall 2018. In 2017, he graduated with his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Merced. He has a strong passion for zero waste and the circular economy in order to emulate sustainable natural cycles where all discarded materials are designed to become resources for others to use.

Prior to coming to ASU, he had internships in California surrounding zero waste operations, outreach, education, and research. Andrew John strives to pursue his PhD in Sustainability and become a professor someday. He is originally from the Los Angeles County in southern California.
