Biography

Andrea Wullenweber is the Program Manager Research for the Global Locust Initiative in the School of Sustainability. In this role, she manages operations for sponsored and internal scientific projects. Andrea achieved her PMP (Project Management Professional) certification in 2017. She is also serving as the President of the ASU Project Management Network, an organization that provides training, networking, and mentoring, and resources related to project management to the ASU community.

Andrea’s background is in environmental science, research advancement, and program development. She worked in Research Advancement for the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability and Knowledge Enterprise before taking on her current role. Prior to joining ASU, Andrea was an Environmental Scientist at Toxicology Excellence for Risk Assessment (TERA), a nonprofit consulting organization, and an Air Toxics Program Coordinator at U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 10 (Seattle).
