Biography

Anamica is a senior engineer and sustainability program lead at Bayer Healthcare’s site in Berkeley, CA. Previously, she was the lead process engineer for Bayer’s primary biotech plant. Prior to Bayer, Anamica was a consultant for Genentech, focused on validation of GMP systems. She began her career by founding a biodegradable plastics company after winning the Environmental Protection Agency’s P3 (People, Planet and Prosperity) competition in the Waste category. She received a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Davis in 2008 and a Masters in Sustainability Leadership from Arizona State University in 2015.
