Biography

Adam is researching psychological trauma as a sustainability challenge. In particular, he is examining the psychosocial benefits of agricultural therapy for combat veterans impacted by PTSD and moral injury. Adam has helped to facilitate workshops with cross-cutting faculty and professional teams, as well as city of Tempe officials. He is a member of Scott Cloutier's Happy Lab and a Writer for the School for the Future of Innovation in Society. He is the graduate representative for the MA program and an at-large member of Graduate and Professional Students Association. Outside of school, he is an associate editor of Four Chambers Press Magazine. Prior to graduate study at Arizona State University, he backpacked across Asia, Europe, and South America for several years.
