Biography

Adam is an MS student in the School of Sustainability. His research interests lie in the field of natural hazards and the underlying factors that can increase or decrease an individual's vulnerability to natural hazards. In addition, his interests also coincide with understanding effective mitigation practices that could be utilized during times of an impending hazard and how these practices can be utilized in various scenarios. Also interested in understanding the perceptions of those previously affected by natural hazards and how these perceptions may be altered to create a higher sense of awareness while simultaneously lowering their individual vulnerability to hazards specific to their areas.
