Sustaining Digital Antiquity: Providing Preservation and Access for Archaeological Information



Digital Antiquity's mission is to ensure preservation of and access to digital archaeological information. This mission serves three goals:

  • improve archaeological research and scholarship to more effectively create and communicate knowledge about the human past;
  • enhance the interpretation, preservation, and protection of archaeological resources; and
  • preserve unique and irreplaceable records of archaeological research.
