Biography

Giuseppe Mascaro earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering in 2001 and a Ph.D. in Hydrology in 2008 from the University of Cagliari, Italy. After a Post-Doctoral experience at New Mexico Tech, he was a research scientist and a lecturer at the University of Cagliari. From November 2012 to August 2016, he was a research engineer and a lecturer at ASU, working for the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability. He is currently an assistant professor at the School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment at ASU.

Dr. Mascaro’s interests include stochastic hydrology, statistical downscaling, watershed modeling, impact of climate change on water resources, remote sensing applied to hydrology and water resources, water systems, and hydroinformatics.
