Biography

I work on how urban and agricultural landscapes can contribute to food security and high water quality instead of degrading them. I use both social and natural science methodologies to better understand the drivers and consequences of nutrient flows and strive to co-create knowledge that allows us to sustainably transform how we manage these nutrients.

Education

  • PhD, Natural Resources Science, McGill University, 2014
  • MS, Sustainability, Arizona State University, 2011
  • BS, Environmental Systems and Earth Sciences, University of California-San Diego, 2009
