Biography

My education consists of a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and a Master’s Degree at THE University of Arizona. As far as expertise relating to energy, I have owned my own consulting company since 2002, called HomeSafe Building Performance. For most of that time I specialized in residential and light commercial building energy diagnostics and improvement recommendations, along with consulting in other building science issues such as HVAC, moisture, and comfort problems. I was the Energy Efficiency Instructor at the local technical college here in Central Wisconsin where a full range of courses from Introductory Energy Concepts all the way up to computer modeling and advanced building analysis were offered within their Renewable Energy Program.

I enjoy hiking, running and walking, and am also somewhat of a foodie.
