DIRTT (Doing It Right This Time) exteriorSchool of Sustainability students and alumni are invited to tour the Phoenix facility of DIRTT (Doing It Right This Time), an architectural and interior design firm that creates customizable, adaptable, and sustainable installations.

Taking place on Wednesday, October 30 at 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., the tour will take you through the DIRTT facility and its Green Learning Center in Phoenix. Participants will learn about DIRTT’s 3D modeling software that allows the firm to design installations before manufacturing, save paper, and eliminate wasteful mock-ups. DIRTT representatives will showcase the firm’s environmentally friendly manufacturing and design processes such as low-VOC powder coats and recycled glass and aluminum.

DIRTT (Doing It Right This Time) interiorDIRTT is the winner of more than 25 prestigious awards, including a PM100 for Innovation Mastery by Progressive Manufacturing magazine, a Manning Award for Outstanding Innovation, and the Excellence in Partnership for Industry Green Contractor from the U.S. Coalition for Government Procurement. Most recently DIRTT received the People's Choice Award for the Greenest Workplace.

Lunch will be served in DIRTT’s custom-designed cafeteria. Transportation to and from DIRTT is provided by Ollie the Trolley. RSVP now to save your seat; they are limited!
