A new segment of “Catalyst” by Arizona PBS features three Senior Sustainability Scientists in the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Institute of Sustainability: Jenni Vanos, Nancy Selover and Ariane Middel. The segment covers the recurring tragedy of children dying in hot cars after parents experience a “cognitive failure” that causes them to forget their children are still in the car — and the research being done to prevent this from happening.
