Geoffrey Osgood is a research specialist at the Global Locust Initiative Laboratory, where he manages the GLI lab spaces and coordinates research logistics. Previously, he worked as an undergraduate research assistant where he collaborated on community ecology projects with monarch butterflies and blue milkweed beetles. He has also worked as a kennel attendant/vet tech and with a wide variety of other animals in various capacities including insects, dogs, cats, reptiles, amphibians, and marine invertebrates. His passion for learning about all things living brought him to the GLI, where he is supporting locust research efforts in order to improve global understanding of locust biology and management.
