Veterans Day Project in Tempe’s Victory Acres

Celebrate Veteran’s Day with a community-service project in Tempe’s Victory Acres Neighborhood, painting the homes of two veterans who have served our country well.

This Veterans Day event is organized by the Sustainable Neighborhood for Wellbeing and Happiness project, a collaboration of the Habitat for Humanity Central AZ, City of Tempe, New Course, the Clinton Global Initiative, Arizona State University, and the Ramsey Social Justice Foundation.

Volunteers must register and sign up for the event on Volunteer Hub. Use the join code victory. Volunteers must be 16 years or older to work on a Habitat site.

Volunteers will meet at Tempe’s Esquer Park at 6:45 a.m., after which we’ll proceed to the work sites.

Please wear closed-toe, closed-heel shoes. In the event of rain, please call the Habitat for Humanity Central AZ Rain Hotline at 602-262-8679
