USAJobs Training: How to Apply for Jobs within the Federal Government

Melanie Wallace

  • Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 9

The USAJobs and Pathways training, presented by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will focus on applying for federal positions, understanding government lingo (GS who, what?), and how to find internships (even ones that lead to permanent jobs). Additionally, we will discuss how federal résumés are different from private industry résumés and tackle any questions that you might have about working for Uncle Sam.

Please familiarize yourself with the USAjobs.gov website before attending this seminar. Space is limited; RSVP is required. For questions, contact Jennifer Carter, (480) 727-9236.

Co-sponsored by the U.S. EPA, ASU's Fulton Schools of Engineering, ASU's Polytechnic campus, and ASU's American Indian Policy Institute.
