Urban Garden Talk: Biodiversity and Low Input Gardening

Jacq Davis

  • Gardener

In 2011, Jacq and her husband bought a house in Tempe and decided to jump into gardening by learning and applying multiple disciplines of natural gardening. From their early efforts, they have built themselves a high density food forest in the middle of the city, dubbed "the Epic Yard Farm."

Join us for this urban garden talk to learn some tips and tricks on low-input gardening using techniques such as polyculture and building soil food webs, and what edible plants can thrive in Arizona and produce abundance.

A light breakfast will be provided

In addition to this talk, there will be a tour of the Epic Yard Farm on Saturday, November 10.

Due to location of the garden, this tour will need to be restricted to the first 25 people that register. Please indicate below if you would like to take the tour. We will notify you by email if you are one of the first 25 to register.
