Sixth Annual Southwest Horticultural Annual Day of Education, Glendale Renaissance

Sponsored by Arizona Nursery Association (ANA), the Southwest Horticultural Annual Day of Education (SHADE) is an award-winning, one-day conference for landscape and nursery professionals that promotes sustainable practices. Attendees include maintenance personnel, parks & recreation staffs, landscape designers and architects, retail nursery and wholesale grower staffs, supervisors, and business owners. Five tracks address design, trees and plants, trending, irrigation, and pest management and plant health. Sessions are presented by industry experts, and the design track is endorsed by the Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. This year's speakers include Janet Waibel, owner/principle of Waibel & Associates Landscape Architecture, RLA, addressing Sustainable Landscape Management. Judeen Terrey, Senior Landscape Architect, Ten Eyck Landscape Architects, RLA, LEED AP, and Trish Bigler, Landscape Designer, will present Vertical Green Structures and Landscapes.
