Sustainability Storytelling: Short Documentaries from Peter Byck’s Class: 11th Edition

Join us for the annual screening of three short films created by students from the School of Sustainability and Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, under the direction of sustainability scientist and director of Carbon Nation, Peter Byck.

This year's films:

Bike Saviours
Bike Saviours teaches us how to create a hands-on, sustainable, and accepting world through a small community bike hub.

Save Water, Drink Beer
A farm, an entrepreneur, and a brewery come together to save Arizona's last free flowing river.

Coconino
Residents in Northeastern Arizona have come together under the perceived threat of helium fracking on parcels of land over the Coconino Aquifer, where extraction rights were recently sold to private industry by the Bureau of Land Management.

A light breakfast will be served.
