Film Screening: The Road Back Home
Dixiletta Moving Pictures's new documentary, The Road Back Home tells the story of homelessness in Maricopa County. The film traces the lives of several people from many different backgrounds who have found themselves without a home in the Valley of the Sun.
Robert Felix, the film's associate producer, will lead a post-film discussion with homeless advocates and those who have experienced homelessness in our community. He will also be premiering a 3-minute short video on ASU's Milt Sommerfeld's biofuel research.
This one-night showing is free to the public, but we encourage donations in support of our next-door neighbor, Urban Outreach, which aids Tempe's homeless population. Consider donating hygiene items (socks and underwear), gently used-clothing and shoes, or supermarket gift cards.
Free parking is available at the Brickyard Parking Garage on 6th St., east of Mill Ave. Bring your ticket and the theater will validate.
