Fast-fashion is at the root of a large portion of global industrial pollution, but entrepreneurial organizations have responded by changing the way we think about and express our sense of style.
In this workshop, the Resource Innovation and Solutions Network (RISN) Incubator team will discuss the incubator and the work it does to support the transition toward a circular economy here in the Phoenix metro area as well as innovation and entrepreneurship efforts within the realm of fashion + sustainability.
This workshop is hands-on with activities based on circular economy, design thinking, mapping methodologies, and more. Attendees will walk away with an understanding of the importance of innovation and disruption of the current linear economy system including the economic benefits to your business from circularizing, ways to engage and inspire within your own network, and how to implement best practices into their fashion industry oriented businesses.
