Free Film Screening: GMO OMG

This film seeks to shed light on how GMOs (genetically modified organisms) affect children, the health of the planet, and freedom of choice. Filmmaker Jeremy Seifert takes a journey from his family’s table to Haiti, Paris, Norway, and the lobby of agra-giant Monsanto to gain insight into a question that is of growing concern to citizens the world over: what's on your plate?

GMO OMG director, Jeremy Seifert, will host a post-film discussion.

Before the screening, we will show Emmanuel Vaughan Lee's short film Yukon Kings, which explores the impact of disappearing salmon on native communities in the remote Alaskan Yukon Delta.

This one-night showing is free, but we encourage donations in support of the United Food Bank. Consider donating nonperishable items or make a tax deductible contribution.

Free parking at the Brickyard Parking Garage on 6th St., east of Mill Ave. Bring your ticket, and the theater will validate.

This event is over capacity, therefore registration is closed, but the film will be showing at Valley Art throughout the week, please check theater listings for more details.
