The Farmers Market on the ASU Tempe campus occurs every other Tuesday during the spring 2011 semester. The market is designed to promote sustainability, healthy eating, and green living practices among our students, faculty, and staff by providing educational opportunities and convenient access to a variety of locally grown and produced foods through a learning-living partnership with Arizona farmers and artisans. This Earth Week Farmers Market also will include displays on the source of our food compiled as part the SOS394 ASU Food Systems class, an applied learning experience that is a part of the Campus Living Laboratory Initiative.
