Cinema Politica Free Film Screening:
Out in the Night

Due to scheduling difficulties, this film event has been canceled. Thank you for understanding!

OUT IN THE NIGHT tells the story of a group of young African American lesbians in New York City accused of assault after defending themselves from a violent sexual predator. Misrepresented in the media as a “Gang of Killer Lesbians,” in activist circles they become known as "The New Jersey 4."

Through the lives of these four young women, the film reveals how race, gender identity, and sexuality become criminalized in the mainstream news media and criminal legal system.

Donations are being collected for one.n.ten- an LGBTQ youth group located in Phoenix.

Please note: This film contains graphic language and depictions of violence.
**Please note the change in location the final film in our summer series**
