100% Renewable Energy Discussion

Bret Fanshaw

  • Environment America Solar Program Coordinator

School of Sustainability student Sydney Fraizer-Flores invites you to a discussion regarding the future of renewable energy in Arizona.

From San Diego to Atlanta, cities across the US are making the commitment and the transition to 100% renewable energy. That’s great news, as science shows us that we need to make a swift and steady switch to renewable energy to avoid the worst effects of global warming.

In the absence of federal leadership, it's up to states and cities to pick up the slack.

Join us for a discussion on how cities and states can lead the transition to 100% renewable energy and what can be done locally to make Arizona a leader in that transition.

Bret Fanshaw from Environment Arizona, a statewide, citizen-based organization working for clean air, clean water, and open space where Sydney is an intern, will lead the discussion welcoming participation from ASU students, staff, faculty and community members.

Icy refreshments will be served.
