Biography

Monique is the Education and Outreach Manager for Central Arizona-Phoenix Long-Term Ecological Research program (CAP LTER). She received her BA in Education from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University and served Title I schools in South Phoenix as a classroom teacher, school leader, and developer of educational resources and curriculum. Prior to joining CAP LTER, she worked with Arizona Science Teacher Association (ASTA) in partnership with Arizona Department of Education (ADE) and Biological Sciences Curriculum Study (BSCS) to construct 3-dimensional instructional units and resources aligned to the conceptual shifts of the new Arizona science standards.
