United Nations University's World Institute for Development Economics Research (WIDER)

We are collaborating with scholars around the world on the WIDER project: "The Impact of Globalization on the World's Poor." Together, we are developing a conceptual framework for analyzing the pathways through which globalization impacts the lives of those in poverty. Institute researchers are examining the impact of international trade and investment flows on local ecosystems, and consequently the livelihood patterns of poor people who depend on them.
