Carbon Plan
Carbon neutrality, or a "net zero carbon footprint," means achieving net zero carbon emissions by balancing a measured amount of carbon released with an equivalent amount of renewable energy or offsetting by planting trees that in turn could help prevent future greenhouse gas emissions.

Sustainability Literacy Program
ASU wants to provide you with the tools to educate yourself on how you can contribute to ASU’s sustainability efforts. Through the Sustainability Literacy Program, learn sustainability basics in less than an hour. There are five units total to complete the sustainability lesson that can be taken in one session or over a period of time. At the end you will receive a certificate of completion to accompany your evaluation.

Green Office Program by University Sustainability Practices
As we strive to meet ASU's carbon neutral and zero waste goals, your participation is especially valuable. You may complete this three-step program two ways: self guided or facilitated.
Green Labs Program by University Sustainability Practices
Due to the nature of lab operations, labs have disproportionately high energy and resource use. The ASU Green Labs Program assists in reducing energy use and implementing other sustainable practices through education and alternative solutions.
