Carbon PlanCarbon neutrality, or a "net zero carbon footprint," means achieving net zero carbon emissions by balancing a measured amount of carbon released with an equivalent amount of renewable energy or offsetting by planting trees that in turn could help prevent future greenhouse gas emissions.

Sustainability Literacy ProgramASU wants to provide you with the tools to educate yourself on how you can contribute to ASU’s sustainability efforts. Through the Sustainability Literacy Program, learn sustainability basics in less than an hour. There are five units total to complete the sustainability lesson that can be taken in one session or over a period of time. At the end you will receive a certificate of completion to accompany your evaluation.

Green Office Program by University Sustainability PracticesAs we strive to meet ASU's carbon neutral and zero waste goals, your participation is especially valuable. You may complete this three-step program two ways: self guided or facilitated.
